"I've Always Grown Up in a Supportive Environment That Nurtures Creativity." — Hayes Noble
Spokane Falls Community College student Hayes Noble shares his legal first and last name with his family music project. It's not the only artistic pursuit going on in the Noble family. "My dad runs 2-2-1 Press, and my mom does all of the art," he tell us, referring to his parents' music collective. To him, taking up music came naturally. His parents fostered a supportive environment where creativity was encouraged. And in Galena, Illinois, where Hayes grew up, there weren't a lot of other punk rockers, outside of his dad and his brother. Naturally, the family group took shape.
Now based in Spokane, Washington, the band kicked off their latest tour in remote Benton City, Washington, where we sat down for our interview at Flying Z Farm. Here's our conversation.
